Faulconbridge panorama
New Year's day 2003, 1:30pm, looking north. We had heavy rain overnight and it's still raining this afternoon.

Compared to the first panorama,
I've zoomed in here to remove the distracting house roof.
A tripod would obviously be sensible so that the pictures are properly aligned.

I took a bit more care with the alignment of the individual pictures for this one.

How are they done?

I can't take much of the credit for the technical side of things. We have a
Canon PowerShot A30 Digital Camera, and with it came a proprietary software
called PhotoStitch. It's extremely easy to use: just select a series of photos
to merge, choose the order, and the software does the rest. Then I shrink the
resulting images using ImageMagick to fit onto the web site.
