Christmas 2002

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring except for me posting this page. Yes, thanks to the digital camera the photos were posted on the Net before the boys had even opened their stockings. I then crawled into bed at 4am and was woken at 5.30am by Angus throwing up in the bed next to me. I calmed him, cleaned him and changed the sheets before crashing out again. I finally surfaced at 9am after many deputations from the lads who wanted to open their presents. I insisted that we get dressed and have breakfast before doing so. This was made more interesting by the fact that the boys had ordered specific things from the book clubs at school and they weren't labelled, so the dinosaur book that Brendan ordered went to Angus and Cameron got Alexander's 'Wild Cats' book which resulted in a flood of tears. It's all been sorted out now, and even Christmas dinner with one adult present went well. We finished the day with a game of Monopoly which is actually still laid out on the living floor ready to be continued tomorrow so I'd better get to bed.
