Flying Training

Lesson 17: Circuits

Sunday 19 February 2006 at 8.00am with Kerry Scott in Citabria VH-MWY

Weather: misty and humid; scattered cloud at 500 feet, clearing slightly and lifting as the day wore on.

Low-level circuits on 10 (grass). This lesson was memorable for Kerry's 180° turn back onto runway 28 after taking off on 10, when she realised the scattered cloud was below 500' AGL.

Also, the high humidity indicated the use of carburettor heat while taxiing, which would not have occurred to me.

Sat and passed a test in radio procedures.
